A sign in the church dining hall says "Sincerity, Simplicity, Service." It accurately reflects the atmosphere of Anson UMC. The congregation has a family feel — a family where it doesn't matter what your last name is. Rather, it's a place to gather in a country-church setting with friendly folks to hear the Gospel preached, to sing, and to admire the beauty of God's creation. A typical Sunday congregation numbers between 15 and 20. Visitors are always welcome.
